Tennis Weekly Drills
You may only sign up for one drill at a time. On the day you come in to attend your drill you may sign up for your next drill. Names signed up more than once will be removed without notification.

Advanced-Beginner Drill: Saturdays, 8-9 am
- Rallying Ability: Players should be capable of sustaining rallies keeping moderately paced balls in play more than they miss, even if they lack precise directional control.
- Drill Participation: The drill feeds should be successfully returned in play most of the time.
- Serving: Players should be able to get most of their serves in.
- NTRP Level: 2.0-2.5, which is classified as advanced beginner.
- Court and Participation Limits: The drill will take place on one court with a maximum of six participants.
- Not for New Beginners: This drill is specifically for players who already have some fundamental skills and experience, not for brand-new players.

Advanced Drill: Saturdays, 9-10:30 AM
- Rallying Ability: Players should be able to rally at a significantly faster pace than intermediate players, showing control and consistency, while also capitalizing on weak shots from the opponent. The ability to be aggressive and finish points is important.
- Stroke Proficiency: There should be no major stroke deficiencies. Players are expected to have well-rounded skills across all strokes.
- Serving: First serves should have offensive capabilities (speed, placement, spin) and second serves must be reliable, avoiding double faults.
- NTRP Level: 4.0 or higher, indicating advanced skill levels.
- Approval Requirement: Players must have approval from the Tennis Department to participate. Any sign-ups from players who haven’t been approved will be removed.
- Court and Participation Limits: The drill will take place on three courts and is limited to a maximum of 18 participants.
This ensures that only high-level, qualified players join the drill to maintain the appropriate level of play and challenge.

Intermediate Drill: Saturdays, 10:30-12 PM.
- Rallying Ability: Players should be capable of rallying moderately paced balls while hitting with directional intent.
- Drill Participation: The majority of drill feeds should be successfully put in play.
- Offensive Shots: Easy shots should be hit offensively with few errors, demonstrating control and confidence.
- Serving: Players should have the ability to hit an offensive first serve, with a low occurrence of double faults.
- NTRP Level: 3.0-3.5, which is classified as intermediate.
- Court and Participation Limits: The drill will take place on three courts and is limited to a maximum of 18 participants.
This is ideal for intermediate players looking to refine their skills and engage in more structured practice with a focus on offensive play and match preparation.

Cardio Tennis: Friday, 9 – 10:30 AM
- Beginner Cardio Tennis is a high-energy fitness class, combining simple instruction with continuous movement for a fun, full-body workout.
- Focus: Introduces basic tennis skills through drills paired with dynamic, high-energy movement
- Intensity: Continuous activity and guided ball hitting create an accessible, aerobic workout
- Participants: Designed for beginners and open to all in a supportive, co-ed environment
