Pilates is an exercise system designed to strengthen and stretch the entire body. It can be performed on a mat or by utilizing apparatus equipped with weighted springs. These springs can make exercises easier or more difficult depending on the needs of the client. Pilates apparatus training at Health Track includes Reformers, Chair and Tower. Pilates instructors at Health Track are trained and certified to work with all types of people from athletes to those recovering from injuries.
We have a variety of certified instructors including Stotts, a contemporary approach to the original exercise method pioneered by the late Joseph Pilates. Our studio pilates has the variety to keep your body and mind engaged so you will never get bored or hit a plateau.The 5 Basic Principles focus on breathing, pelvic placement, rib cage placement, scapular movement and head & cervical spine placement. Choose from one on one, partner (2 people), or group (3-4 person) trainings. One on one personalized training programs on Cadillac tower, chair, and barrel. Time slots can be arranged per instructor availability.
