Join our 100-Mile Swim Club It’s easy to sign up! Simply keep track of the laps you swim during each workout and record your yardage/mileage in the 100 mile swim binder located outside the aquatics office. The mileage tracking will be maintained and updated weekly!
When does the challenge start? January 1 – December 31st, 2020 How many lengths is a mile?
Length = One end of the pool to the other (25 yards)
Lap = Down & Back (50 yards)
70 Lengths or 35 laps = 1,760 yards
Can I walk and have it count as a length of the pool?
Yes! Anyway you go up and down the pool will count as a lap, so you can swim, kick, pull, walk, jump, anything that you are comfortable with. Just have to make sure that you make it from one end of the pool all the way to the other end.
Participants will receive instruction in Shuri-Ryu, a traditional form of Okinawan karate. This style of martial art is one of the most complete self-defense systems in existence. Tennis truly is a great lifetime sport. Do you feel it’s time to get started? Have you already played some and need to refine or rediscover your game? Are you looking for a great workout? We have the perfect beginner and advanced noontime program for you. You must be 18 or older to register for an adult class. Minimum registration for all adult classes is three. Participants are taught by the HealthTrack tennis staff. We offer an Adult Beginner Tennis Class and an Adult Advanced Beginner.
Soothe away your aches and pains in the safe warm water environment of this class that incorporates balance work, strengthening of muscles and gentle stretching. This is wonderful if you have arthritis or fibromyalgia, but great for all levels!
