Group Exercise Class Descriptions

Balanced Body: Develop strength, core stability, and increase flexibility in this 1-hour class.  A variety of equipment will be used to focus on core training and balance.  A lengthy stretching sequence is also included.

Bosu Training: This class will focus around the Bosu Balance Dome.  Participants will be trained in balance, strength, and  endurance by using “Both sides up!”

Bosu Pilates:This class incorporates Pilates principles using the unstable surface of the Bosu, and will increase the challenge of balance, coordination and control.

Boxing Circuits: Boxing circuits are set up in the studio to offer participants variety and using easy to follow boxing drills.  This 60 minute class will give you a great cardio and strength workout!

Cardio Circuits: Tired of having to think about choreography?  Give this class a try!  Class will consist of various stations set up around the studio to give you a 40 minute non-stop fat burning workout.

Cardio Mix:Experience the intensity and variety of this great workout!  Hi/Lo Aerobics, Step, and Cardio Kickboxing are among the several formats in this class.

Core Synergy: 30 minutes packed with strength and stability exercises for the abdominals and back.  This class is a great way to target the core muscles with challenges for all levels.  No regular crunches here!

Dynamic Muscle Motion:This class combines traditional strength training with functional movement training.  Familiar strengthening exercises will be integrated with functional training to strengthen muscles and improve movement skills used in daily activities.

Dynamic Muscle Motion (Plus): Same class as described above, with the addition of cardio segments!

Gyrokinesis: $$ Mat version of our popular Gyrotonics.  Fluid movement patterns designed to strengthen internal support structures that will leave you feeling energized, balanced and in control!  Fee-based class. 

Hard Core Conditioning: Sport-specific format focusing on strength training, speed, agility, power, and flexibility.  This challenging class is highly recommended for adults participating in competitive sports, triathlons, or individuals looking for an advanced workout.

Having A Ball: Looking for something a little out of the ordinary?  Come and try this class.  Utilizing the Resist-A-Ball, tubing, and weights, this class is sure to tone up every muscle in your body.

Multiple Step: 1,2,3, or 4 steps may be used in this unique class!  Easy to follow choreography patterns move you from one step to another.  Challenging and fun! 

O.A.S.I.S. Aerobics:This class is designed with older adults in mind.  It will incorporate simple moves to improve overall health. 

Pilates Mat FusionThis is a blend of introductory to advanced mat-based training.  Challenges include alternating breath rhythms, modification of exercises and flow.

Introduction to + Pilates Mat: This is an introduction level class.  Participants will learn the pilates principles of breath, pelvic, rib cage, scapula/shoulder, and head placement.

Pilates Mat Intermediate: IT IS REQUIRED THAT YOU TAKE AT LEAST 6 PILATES I CLASSES BEFORE YOU ATTEND THIS CLASS!  This class is the next level of Pilates mat training including full pilates mat exercises with coordination and core stabilization challenges.

Pilates Mat With Toning Balls: This pilates class delivers a weighted challenge!  Participants will be taken through a series of mat exercises with small weighted balls. Maximum 10 participants.  Pilates experience required.

Power Yoga: Class will move at a faster pace and will incorporate some “power” moves that are sure to challenge the more advanced.

PUMP: By utilizing a bar, weight plates, and a step, our instructors will bring you through a 45- minute strength training class leaving you “PUMPED”!

Spin: Come prepared to go on an hour-long journey focusing on muscular endurance, muscular strength, cardiovascular endurance, and cardiovascular strength!  Bike availability is on a first come, first serve basis.  Water bottles and heart rate monitors are strongly encouraged.

Spin Endurance: This is a low-to-moderate intensity aerobic exercise class, that builds a strong fitness base, increases aerobic capacity, and is the ultimate in fat burning.

Super Sculpt: By utilizing hand weights, tubing, and body bars, our qualified instructors will take you through a full-body strength training workout that is sure to offer a lot of variety.

Waterworks: This challenging water workout provides the ultimate in cardiovascular and muscle conditioning.  A variety of unique movements are used to work all major muscle groups.  Aquatic equipment will be incorporated.

Yoga I: This class provides an overview of basic yoga techniques. Breathing, poses, and deep relaxation are practiced.

Yoga I/II: Bring balance to both your mind and body through effort complimented by relaxation. Proper breathing and stretching techniques make this class a great stress reducer and energy booster.

Yoga II: Take your Yoga practive to the next level. Challenge your body to learn more advanced poses. Give it a try!
